Wineteca 2017 – Tre Bicchieri Special Edition
The wait is over: Gambero Rosso® comes back to London with a very special edition of its Tre Bicchieri Tour, showcasing 50 of the most distinguished cellars in Italian wine production!
This year the leading media company in the Italian fine Food & Beverage industry is celebrating the 30th birthday of its guide Vini d’Italia, one of the most authoritative publications available on the complex world of Italian wines. More complete than ever, the guide reviews 2,400 wineries and a total of 22,000 wines, awarding the classic scores ranging from 0 to 3 Glasses according to the quality of the label.
In honour of this special anniversary, Gambero Rosso® will be bringing to London the best of Italian wine production: the exhibiting wineries at the Tre Bicchieri Tour have all won the Tre Bicchieri award and are therefore prominent in Gambero Rosso®’s guide.
During the day, UK trade and press professionals will be able to meet the Italian producers and attend two exclusive masterclasses dedicated to the best wines in the show; hosted by Marco Sabellico, Senior Editor of Gambero Rosso’s guide Vini d’Italia.
In the evening the event will also open its doors to a group of wine lovers so that attendees can celebrate the Italian wines in style.
We have some more news: on this special occasion, Gambero Rosso® has joined forces with Barilla, the world’s largest pasta company and the European leader for pasta sauces. During the wine tasting, Barilla chefs will delight participants with a variety of original pasta dishes to pair with fine Italian wines.
The cherry on top! All attendees will be able to discover Gambero Rosso®’s new digital guide Top Italian Restaurants which rates the best Italian restaurants, pizzerias, and wine bars around the world.
All the signs point towards this being an event fit for a connoisseur!
Between 12:30 pm and 5 pm the event is open to Wine Trade & Press Only.
Wine Lovers are welcome between 5 pm and 7:30 pm.
